We've been friends since we started college and are pretty much inseparable. However, we don't really talk about sex. The other day we were having pizza in my VW bus and this thought occurred to me of how would she react if I ask her to let me go down on her. I don't want to ruin the friendship and I'm not sure if I want to be a couple, though I don't see myself with another girl that is not her. I think you need to decide how you wish the relationship to be, and then act accordingly to move it in that direction. IOW, do you want just to be friends, FWB, or romantically involved. Unless she's secretly pining for you I don't foresee this ending well. My 2 cents, if she's a really good friend, an important person in your life that you want to have around for the long haul, don't mention it. Keep the fantasy to yourself. If you want to date her ask her out, be ready to accept rejection should she decline your request.
