Like the others, Honor will also skip number 4 in naming its Magic V foldable due to superstitions.
The brand will renew the Honor Magic V3 foldable this year. However, the phone is reportedly going to be named a different moniker. Instead of getting the name Honor Magic V4, a rumor in China says that Honor will skip it and opt for the Honor Magic V5. This is not a surprise since Chinese smartphone brands often observe this due to superstition about the number.
According to earlier reports, the Honor Magic V5 will launch either in May or June. The phone is also expected to sport a thin body to match the Oppo Find N5. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared last month that the foldable would shrink to “less than 9mm” in thickness.
In addition to those details, here are the other details expected from the Honor Magic V5:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
